Welcome to Mrs. Mohr's Earth Science class! We will be utilizing technology this semester with a lot of our curriculum. One major way that we will incorporate online assignments and research is through our classroom blog. I will post assignments and projects here to work on during class. Each of you will create your own blog to respond to questions from my blog and to post your work on. In most of our exercises, you will be required to respond to at least 2 of your classmates blogs. For each specific assignment, I will give you exact instructions for what you are required to complete and what I am looking for.
Today, your first assignment is to create your own blog. Please refer to the handout you recieved titled, "Setting up your Blog". Be sure to carefully read this handout and follow the directions on it. I will be available to answer any questions you may have about this process.
When you are finished with this, be sure to write down your blog information on the Computer Sign - Up Sheet. Also, I would like you to comment on this blog with your FIRST NAME ONLY, your class period, as well as the link to your blog. Write a short paragraph about your own personal history with blogging; is it something you have never done before? Frequently do? Are you excited to get to use this as a tool in our classroom?
